Beyond all of the benefits spelled out in brochures, membership in Post 511 New Britain has something very unique to offer . . . the "Veteran Vibe"!

 

The "Veteran Vibe" is belonging to a group of people that "get" what is like to serve in the Armed Forces or had close family who did.  They "get" you!  You have a common bond of completing some type of Boot Camp, a basic military "trade" school, reported to a military command and stood a post or a watch, sometimes all night long.  If You Know - You Know - IYKYK.

 

You don't have to explain things that have to be experienced.  You can be among kindred spirits who truly appreciate and understand what you have achieved.  You can be yourself without fear of offending someone by your swag.
